Of the RNZAF and Civil Aviation NZ, on 28 November 2016 after a long illness, aged 89 years.

Loved son of Mary & William, and brother to the late Kit, William and Ellen. Dearly loved husband of Anne. Loved and respected father of Sue & Dave, Jill and Miles & Suzanne. Loved grandfather of Gemma, Lucy, Grace, Olivia, Alannah and Bridgette.
