On Thursday January 12, 2017 peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital, aged 85.

Dearly loved husband of Beverley for 32 years. Much loved Dad and Father-in-law of Alison and Keith Jones (USA), and Tim and Visoth (Wellington). Loved stepdad of Suzanne Truscott and Bryn Jones (Masterton), Theresa and D’Arcy Foster (Canada), and Lucy Truscott (Otaki Beach). Cherished Grandpa of Forrest and Tessa, Rachel and Anita, Loghan, Danyel, Rhys and Lewis. Much loved friend to many.

A service for Richard will be held in the Epiphany Church, High Street, Masterton, on Thursday 19 January at 11.00 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Wellington Free Ambulance (Wairarapa Service) PO Box 6140 Wellington or Stroke Central Region PO Box 639 Paraparaumu 5254 or left at the church.
