On March 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family, peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital; aged 96 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Joan, much loved father and father-in-law of John and Margaret, Jill, Denis and Denise.

Treasured Grandad of Kate, Rachel, and Susan; Melanie, Michael, Anna, and Christopher; Simon, and Rebecca and loved Great Grandad of his 14 great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Cyril’s life will be held in Church of Christ, corner of St Andrew and Filleul Streets, Dunedin at 1.00pm on Monday March 27, followed by private cremation.
