Died after a short illness at Hutt Hospital, aged 84 years.

Dear husband of Patricia for 58 years.

Loved father of Gerard and James, and father in law of the late Kim Hammond.

Precious grandfather Marty of Emma, Nick, Georgin and James, and loved friend of Belinda McMannus.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Pauline & the late Pat Thyne, Marsha & the late Laurie, Michael & Judith Thyne, Pauline & the late Kevin McGrade, Rosemary & the late Ian Steele, Sylvia & Brian Bennett, Rosemary & Desmond Burke.

Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

He was a best friend through out his life.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the church of St Benedict, 3 Everest Street, Khandallah on Thursday March 30, 2017 at 1:00pm thereafter private interment at Makara Cemetery.
