Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 26 March 2017 at Kenepuru Hospital, Wellington.

Dearly loved husband for 53 years of Kathy (Ekaterini). Much loved father and father in law of Demos and Natja, and Ana and Phillip Matsis. Treasured papou of Panayiotis, Kyriakos, Raphael and Sophia. Loved brother and brother in law of Zaharo (dec) and Kostas (dec), John (dec) and Persa, Maria and Yiannis (dec), John and Vasiliki Giannoulis and much loved uncle of his nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Friends and family are welcome to offer their condolences at his home on Tuesday and Wednesday between 3pm and 7pm.

You are invited to attend the funeral service at the church he loved and served since 1961, the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, "O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania St, Mt Victoria, Wellington at 11am on Thursday, 30 March, interment thereafter.
