On March 25, 2017, peacefully at Leslie Groves Hospital, with family by his side; aged 91 years.

Loved husband of the late Billie, and Daphne. Loved father and father-in-law of Lyneece and Russell, and Henrietta. Loved grandfather of Joe and Zana and great grandfather of Santana. Loved step-father of Trish, and Philip and whanau. Loved friend of the late Elsie and family. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Leslie Groves Hospital for their kindness and compassion.

A service for Eric will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3pm on Thursday March 30, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
