BOOTH, Margaret (nee McAnsh)

On Wednesday April 26, 2017, surrounded by love, at St Andrews Home and Hospital, Dunedin; 92 years young.

Beloved wife of the late Alan Booth (Ravensbourne), treasured and honoured mother and mother-in-law of Kathryn and the late Max Birtles (Cromwell), Geoffrey and Susan Booth (Tauranga), Alison and George Barbara (Dunedin), precious Grandma and Great-Grandma of Joanna, Justin, Jorja, Asher and the late Mitchell Thorn (Dunedin), Kimberly and Jaymerson Birtles (Cromwell), Charlotte and Lee Hurst (Cromwell), Daniel Birtles (Christchurch), Nicola, Shane and Zachary O’Rourke (Auckland), Jenny, Mark and Katie Barrow( Mt. Maunganui), Christopher, Michelle, Joshua and Koby Booth (Tauranga) and the late Anna Booth, Tim, Ali, Liam, Joel and Ruby Andrew (Tauranga), Emily and Alan Walker (Brisbane), and Isaac Barbara (Dunedin).

Margaret’s family thank the staff of Willows Unit, especially Yvonne, for their care of her over the last six and a half years.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3:30pm on Saturday April 29, followed by private cremation.

Flowers respectfully declined but donations to the Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
