Peacefully on May 8, 2017 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 88 years.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Mavin for 70 years (Birchleigh), loved father and father-in-law of Jan Forrest-Kerr and the late Ian Kerr (Arrowtown), Bruce and Leah Thomson (Ashburton), Ken and Shirley Buswell (Dunedin), Steven Thomson (Australia), Jimmy Thomson and partner Bernadette (Australia), Paula Thomson and partner James (Australia). Dearly missed Grandfather of nine, Great Grandfather of fifteen and Great Great Grandfather of two.

A service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12:30pm on Monday May 15, followed by private cremation.
