MOORE, Frederick Bruce Harvey (Bruce)

On May 17, 2017, peacefully with family after a short illness, in the loving care of the Otago Community Hospice; aged 81 years.

Loved husband and best friend of Elizabeth (nee Miller) for 58 years, loved father and father-in-law of Christopher Bruce and Jennifer (Melbourne), Peter Bruce and Christine (Wellington), Robyn Louise and Christopher Gale (Dunedin), loved Grandad of Dominique, and William (Melbourne); Matthew, Jonathon, and Rachel (Wellington); Nicholas, and Anna (Dunedin); Matthew, Johnathan, and Amy (Wellington); Michael, and Joshua (Dunedin) and special friend of Amanda Moore (Wellington), Scott Gray (Dunedin), and adored by his dog Sam, loved brother and brother-in-law of Heather and Peter Wilson (Otaki), Rosemary Stott (Christchurch), Christopher and Roberta Miller (Portobello), loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

A service for Bruce will be held in St Peter’s Anglican Church, Hillside Road, at 11am on Tuesday, May 23, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
