CHUNG, Doris (nee CHUN): on Tuesday 23 May 2017, peacefully at home in the presence of her family, aged 99 years. Wife of the late CHUNG Chun Ying. Much loved mother and mother in-law of Eddie, Howard (dec) and Dorothy (dec), Marie, Stephanie, Rosalie and Dewar, Ray and Lorraine, Lyn and Wendy, Ken and Jillian, Brentward (dec), Francie and Rod. Beloved Mah-Mah and Por-Por of 18 grandchildren and much adored great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. Forever in our thoughts, you are unforgettable.
A special thanks to the staff at Mary Potter Hospice who did an amazing job caring for Doris at the hospice and supporting the family in her return to home.
A service to celebrate Doris' life will be held at 11am on Wed, 31 May, at St Teresa Church, 301 Karori Road, Karori. The burial will be at 3pm at Makara Cemetery, 237 Makara Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mary Potter Hospice or Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
