Dearly loved and loving wife of Jim, loved mother and mother-in-law of Lynette and David Young (Tapanui), Judy and Leigh Bamfield (Gold Coast), James and Kylie (Auckland), and Pam. Special friend of Sassy, and a treasured grandmother and great-grandmother of Nelson and Kristina, Oakland and Dustin (Waikoikoi), Joanna and Hamish, Georgia and Alexandra Butler (Melbourne); Kirsten and Tony Hopkins (Christchurch), and Lisa.

A service to celebrate Doreen’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 12.30pm on Friday June 23, followed by private cremation.
