Bogacki, Michalina Waclawa (Misia or Michelle to friends):

Of Kilbirnie, Wellington aged 92 years. Peacefully in her sleep on Friday, 23 June 2017 at Vincentian Home and Hospital, Wellington.

Loved Our Lady Mother of God, her beloved Poland, classical music, flowers, bargains, good reading and above all, her family. Escaped Siberia to London to marry Bernard (dec. 1994), arrived NZ in 1952. Sister of Marysia (Sydney), Stasia dec. (London), Regina (Norway) and Kaz (Sydney); mother to her six children Adam, Andy, Anthony, Alicia, Anatole, Alex and their wives/husbands Lesley, Elisabeth, Ian, Malgosia and Gillie; Babcia to her grandchildren Jonathan, Michael, Anna, Jan, Danny, Edwina, Rory and their wives/partners Toyah, Aneke & Sam; Babcia to her great grandchildren Amelia and Estelle.

Will be greatly missed.

Grateful thanks to the wonderful staff and management at Vincentian Home and Hospital, Berhampore who cared for Misia in her last weeks.

Misia’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St Patrick, Childers Tce, Kilbirnie on Tuesday, 4 July at 11am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited in Church on Monday evening at 7pm.
