SWEERE Reverend Father Michael Cornelis -

Loved and respected Priest of the Archdiocese of Wellington.
Peacefully at St Joseph's Home of Compassion Silverstream on August 12, 2017.

Aged 90 years and in the 54th year of his Priesthood.

Loved son of the late Hendrikus and Catharina; Brother of the late Johanna Verhaart; Uncle of Katarina McNamara, Anna Davidson, Ray, Michael, Gerald, and Peter Verhaart.

Friends wishing to pay their respects to Fr Michael may do so by visiting him at Harbour City Funeral Home Cnr Fergusson Drive and Ward Street Upper Hutt.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph's Church cnr Pine Avenue and Main Street, Upper Hutt on Friday August 18th 2017 at 10:30am followed by interment at the Akatarawa Cemetery.

A Vigil service will be held in Church on Thursday evening at 7:00pm.
