ROBERTS, Murray John - On 21st May 2018 peacefully in the home he loved and in accordance with his wishes.

Loved and loving fellow adventurer for 48 years of Liz. Loved and respected father and father in law of Helen (dec) and Robin Bisley, David and Julia Roberts.
Besotted "Muzz" and paparazzi of Toby and Annie Bisley, Theo and Ana Roberts. Son of the late Edward and Ruby Roberts (nee Clarke). 
Brother and brother law of Paul (dec) and Suzie (dec) of Levin, Jennifer (dec) and Gary Veale of Te Awamutu, Pamela and Duncan Campbell of Tauranga, Sue and David Mai of Lower Hutt.

Passionate zookeeper and photographer for 52 years at Wellington Zoo. Loved and remembered by staff, past and present, and animals alike. The family would like to thank the amazing Wellington Zoo team and Mary Potter Hospice for their exceptional care and support for not only Murray and Helen over the past year but for the entire family. 

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Mary Potter Hospice PO Box 7442 Newtown, which may also be left at the service.

A service to celebrate Murray’s life will be held at Wellington Zoo’s Archibald Centre on Manchester Street, Newtown on Tuesday, 29th May 2018 at 11am, after which a private family cremation will take place.
