MORRIS, Patricia Lilian – Passed away at Bob Scott’s Retirement Village, Petone on 22 May 2018.

Loving wife of John (dec), devoted mother of Louise and Adam, mother-in-law and friend of Gary and Seb, treasured and precious grandmother of Malachi and Tamara. She was also the loved sister of Harry, Eileen, Leslie, Peter, Sidney and Eric Oldacre (all dec), sister-in-law of Mary and Gerard and aunt of Christine and Josephine and her husband Rod.

Born in 1933 in Stoke-On-Trent, England, Pat emigrated with her family to New Zealand in 1971.

Mum always put family and people first and was generous with her time and love, within the family and with others in the community. She is, and will be, missed so much.

Sincere thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Village at the Park and Bob Scott Retirement Home who looked after Mum so well, over the past 4 years. Special thanks to the team of carers and nurses at Bob Scott’s who cared so lovingly and compassionately for Mum in her final weeks.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s New Zealand would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Pat’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Hill Street, Thorndon on Monday 28 May at 12pm, followed by a private cremation. A Rosary vigil will be held at the same Cathedral on Sunday 27 May at 5pm.
