Christopher (Chris) Gilbert Paul Morley peacefully at Wellington Hospital on Friday 27 July 2018 after a short illness, surrounded constantly by loved family and friends.

Son of the late Roy William (Bill) and Iris Joan (Joannie) Morley. Adored father of Madeleine and Sarah. Grandad to Bella. Cherished partner of Becky. Idolised stepfather to Robbie and his partner Mindy, and to Catherine. Ex-husband and long-time friend of Arabella. Father-in-law to Reece and good friend to Kane. Much loved younger and older brother to Michael, Kerry, Suzanne, Jeremy and their respective partners. Uncle, nephew and cousin to his wider family. Revered and respected friend of many, including his fellow Wellington bus drivers and Wellington Tramways Union colleagues.

A man for whom family, friends and values were all.

The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Oncology Ward 5 at Wellington Regional Hospital for the tender loving care and compassion shown to Chris throughout his brief illness.

In Lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to The Cancer Society, which may be left at Chris’ funeral service.

Chris's Funeral will be celebrated at St Thomas More Church,36 Worcester Street, Wilton on Thursday 2 August 2018 at 12:30 pm thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.
