HEWITT, William Alexander (Bill) – On Saturday 15 September 2018 in his 90th year, Bill passed away after a short illness.

Devoted and loving husband for 65 years to Greta; loved father and father in law of Russell & Helen and Paul & Diane; loving grandfather of David, Michael, Jenna, Eugenia and Jordan and his Great Grandchildren Coco, Paris, Jasper, Jack and Harper.

Bill will be missed and fondly remembered by his sister Pat along with Ronnie and family in Wellington as well as the wider family both here in New Zealand, Northern Ireland and England plus his dear friends at the Salvation Army many of whom know him fondly as Uncle Bill.

A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 92 Vivian Street, Wellington on Friday 21 September at 12 noon followed by a private cremation.
