Derek Neil Lee - Peewee Lee - Ray Lee
He has taken off from the starters block and is forever running to meet his Maker, his wife Nolene Cherie Lee (nee Kaio) is waiting with arms outstretched to guide him to his parents Horace Jack Lee and Olive Ivy Judd (nee Jones).
He is survived by his wife Brenda,his children and his mokopuna.
Daughters Wilma, Maxeen Lee and Aunty Margery were by his side and gave him the starters clap to take off. With sons Teri and Dwane Lee eating his dust.
The ticker tape parade will be held at the Richmond Funeral Home Richmond Road, Carterton. Bring your sneakers, softball bats or mitts, hockey sticks, caps, basketballs, referee whistles and send him off like the true sportsman he was all of his life.
Kick up your heels dad and FLY like the wind.
Race starts at 11am on Thursday
Don’t be late or you will be fined by the marshall or referee.

He will be lying in state at Moiki Valley Road, at The Mete Smith residence until Wednesday 9am, after which he will lie in state at Richmond Funeral Home for viewing. Poroporake to commence from 6pm until 8pm.
All are Welcome.

A service for Derek will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Thursday 11th October 2018 at 11.00am followed by private cremation.

Died peacefully on October 5th October 2018, aged 80.
Beloved husband of Brenda, stepfather to Kevin Grant and Kathy (Whitianga), Nigel and Teressa Grant (Cambridge), Shelly Grant (Upper Hutt), David Grant (deceased).
