-Was promoted to Glory on September 12, 2006 at the Otago Community Hospice; in her 64th year. Beloved daughter of the late Denis and Alexa Wise, loved and admired sister of Bill and Barbara (Balclutha), Sally and Paul Armfelt (Dunedin), and the late Bryan. Much loved Aunt of Kirsty, Nikki, and Cate; Janet, Denis, and Hilary; and Richard and Great Aunt of all their children.

A service of Thanksgiving for Wendy's life will be held in the Salvation Army Dunedin City Corps, 575 Princes Street, Dunedin at 11am on Friday September 15 followed by private cremation.
