Peacefully at Marne Street Hospital on June 7, 2015; in his 78th year.

Dearly loved husband of Diane and loved father and father-in-law of Nicola and Phil Press (Australia), Glen (Australia), Dale and Hiromi (Japan), dearly loved Grandpa of Joshua, and Courtenay; and Uta.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Joan and Bernard Whitley, loved uncle of Paul, David, and Steven and their families.

Loved son-in-law of Mary and the late Bob Myles, loved brother-in-law of Robin and Nola, Barbara and Alan Bridgman, Carol, and Rae and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Rod’s life will be held in Musselburgh Baptist Church, Musselburgh Rise at 1.30pm on Wednesday June 10, followed by private cremation.
