On July 14, 2015, at Ross Home and Hospital; in his 95th year. Husband of the late Margaret, loved father and father-in-law of Barbara and Bernard Thorpe, much loved Grandad of Nicky and Michael Gauler, Susanna and Nigel Law, and Great-Grandad of Michelle, Dominic, Flurina, and Veronica; Zak, and Ruby.

A funeral service for Jock will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3.00pm on Saturday, July 18, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to the McEldowney Family, c/- DX Box YX15033, Dunedin.
