MALTHUS, Janet Adair (nee Neave) -- On September 30, 2006, peacefully after a long and happy life, at Dunedin Hospital, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of Rex, dearly loved mother of Jane and James, Caroline and Paul, the late Peter, and Diana, Tim and Vanessa (Edinburgh), Susan and David, Clare and Dave, much loved and adored Grandma of Samuel; Ben; Gracie, Cecily, and Daniel; and Brooke, loved sister of Cecily and Gavin Liddell, David and Jane Neave, and the late Tom, and beloved Aunty Jan of many.

A service for Janet will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday October 4 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
