On August 29, 2015 very peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice, two doors from his childhood home; In his 77th year. Very much loved main man of Lenore, treasured father and father-in-law of Caitlin, Matthew and Melissa, Merewyn and Gary, much loved Grandy of Sam and Pepe, Laura, Katie, Jesse, Joseph, Sophie, and Hannah, and great grandy of Pearl. ‘He’s taken his final tram ride home’

A service for Lester will be held in St Matthew’s Church, 30 Hope Street at 1.30pm on Wednesday September 2 followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
