On October 5, 2015, peacefully at Oxford Court Rest Home; aged 87 years. Loved husband and best friend of Joan, loved father and father-in-law of Joy, Darryl and Sue, Penny and Tim, and the late Lewis, treasured Grandad of Lorne, and Nathan; Shane, Catherine, and the late Shawn; Lana, and Pamela, and all his great-grandchildren.

A service for Roy will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 12:30pm on Saturday October 10, followed by private cremation.
