- On October 7, 2006 peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; in her 87th year. Loved wife of the late Adam Arthur, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Graeme and Sue, and dearly loved grandma of Rhys, Gidget, and Nicola.

A service for Betty will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1.30pm on Wednesday October 11 followed by private cremation.
