On November 9, 2015 suddenly at Dunedin Hospital; aged 71 years. Dearly loved husband of Esme, much loved father and father-in-law of John, Julie and Mike, Michael and Shar, loved Papa of Tennille, Alyssa, Blair, and Drew, and also loved by Adele and Scott (Canada).

In accordance with John’s wishes a private service has been held.
