- On October 25, 2006 at the Otago Community Hospice; aged 44 years. Much loved husband of Danette, loved and adored father of Jarrod. Loved son-in-law of Lyn and the late Allen Bryant, and brother-in-law of Jeffrey and Marina, Michelle, and Donna and their families.

A service for Michael will be held in Knox Church, George Street, Dunedin at 3pm on Monday October 30 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
