On August 6, 2016 at Oxford Court Rest Home; in his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband of Wendy, loved father and father-in-law of John and Lynley Tippet, Janeen and Larry Beattie, loved grandad of Kerry and Megan Tippet, Jemma and Rory, and great grandad “GG” of Leif, Aden, and Louie; and James. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and the late Dan McKenzie (Scotland), Margaret and the late George McArthur (Scotland), Margaret and the late Garth Craib.

A service for John will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Thursday August 11, followed by private cremation.
