Passed away peacefully on August 10, 2016, in the loving care of the staff at Oxford Court Rest Home, Dunedin; in his 95th year.

Loving husband of the late Barbara, much loved father and father-in-law of Susan, and Graham and Diane (Little River), dearly loved grandfather and great-grandfather of Jennie and Brendon, Maggie, Hamish, and Annabelle; Kelly and Tim; and the late Kym; loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Herbert David McLeod (RNZAF), the late Bill and Margaret Fraser and the late Bert and Joyce Fraser; and a loved uncle of his nephews and their families.

A service for John will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3.00pm on Monday August 15, followed by private cremation.
