DOBSON, Verona Muriel (Polly or Rona) nee Sanders

Formally of Chatsford, Mosgiel, and Alexandra. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 14, 2016, at Leslie Groves Hospital, with family by her side; in her 89th year.

Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Norman. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Bryan and Anne Dobson (Invercargill), Trevor and Jo (Dunedin), Linda and Clark McLean (Christchurch). Dearly loved Grandma of Matthew, Jason, and Tanya Dobson; Bianca and partner Luc Howard, Sacha and Simon Harbott, Anita and Gideon Banks; Disa and Warren Walker, Robyn and Andrew Swensen. Great-Grandma of Laekyn Harbott; Lena Walker; Lily, McArthur, and Digby Swensen, loved eldest daughter of the late Leonard and Agnes Sanders (Alexandra), loved sister of Margret Green (Mosgiel) and of the late Gwen Harris (Cromwell), Dick (Nelson), Jack (Christchurch) and Graham (Dunedin).

Family extend grateful thanks to the staff of Leslie Groves Rest Home and Hospital for their dedication and care.

A service for Polly will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 12.30pm on Saturday September 17, followed by burial at the Alexandra Cemetery at 11.30am on Monday September 19.

In lieu of flowers donations for St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
