“Last of the old guard”

On December 28,2016 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 71 years.

Dearly beloved husband of Christine, special Da to Heather, and Shona, and friend to Andrew and the late Garreth. Treasured Muddy / Munny of Lorelei, Lyshanna, Waide, Kirsten, and Charlotte. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Alison and Graham Leach (Remuera), and loved brother of Robert (Dunedin), uncle and great uncle of Jocelyn, Norman, Pippa, Douglas, and Andrew Stirrat (Skelmorlie Mains Estate, Scotland) and Martin, Siobhan and wee Robbie Leach (Sydney).

A good friend to many people and his community involvements. He will be missed by everyone.

A celebration of Murray’s life will be held in St Paul’s Cathedral, Octagon, at 2.00pm, January 7, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
