George passed away at Avonlea Home, Christchurch on Sunday, December 4, 2016; aged 93 years.

Much loved husband of the late Hilda, loved father and father-in-law of Ann, Mary and Bruce Matheson, Michael and Virginia. Much loved grandfather of Stephen and Danielle, Emma and Cameron; Hamish and Stacey, Scott and Michelle, and Daniel; Paul and Edward. Much loved great grandfather of Jordan, Reegan, and Georgi.

A celebration of George’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 10am on Friday January 27, 2017.
