On August 17, 2017, unexpectedly at Dunedin Hospital; in her 89th year.

Much loved wife of the late Garth. Loved mother and mother-in-law of James and Brenda, John and Deborah, Shona and Rob Dunlop, and Sandra Keay. Adored grandmother of Tim and Rachel, and Kate and Steven; Sam, and Josh; and Ella and great nana of Edward, and Scarlett. Treasured sister, sister-in-law and best friend of Margaret and Dave Hanlin, sister-in-law of Rita and the late Bill Blakley. Greatly loved aunt of her nieces and nephews and their families.

A service for Betty will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Wednesday August 23, followed by private cremation.
