Peacefully on February 2, 2018, surrounded by his family at home in Waikouaiti; in his 96th year.

Dearly loved husband of Kath for nearly 69 years, much loved Dad and father-in-law of Bill and Joy, Maureen and Don Balmain, Jeff and Aileen, Lynley and Maurice Chave, Annie and Steve, loved Pop of his 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Special thanks to Dr Dave McKay for his care and support over the past few weeks.

A service to celebrate Pop’s life will be held in the East Otago Events Centre, 203 Main Road, Waikouaiti at 2.00pm on Wednesday February 7, followed by private cremation.
