Brown, John Hamilton (The Captain)

passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Observatory Village, Oamaru on 26 April 2018.

Loved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Brown, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Mary Lou and Peter Cranshaw (Levin), Caroline and Clive Robinson (Palmerston North), Nathalie Brown (Oamaru), Paddy Ann and Rod Pemberton (Teviot), and John and Vanessa Brown (Oamaru).

Treasured Poppa of his 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Loved by all his nieces and nephews, especially Liz Dunlop (Oamaru).

In accordance with John’s wishes a private cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held, details to be advised.
