APPLEBY, Douglas John (Doug), formerly of Appleby’s Gift Shop, Palmerston

On May 28, 2019, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 80 years.

Beloved son of the late Cyril and Edna Appleby, loved twin brother of the late Des’, loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Joan and John Murphy, and the late Peter Appleby, loved uncle of Kelly, and Sean Murphy (Sydney).

A service for Doug will be held in St Mary's Anglican Church, 5 Stromness Street, Palmerston at 1.30pm on Friday May 31, the funeral then leaving for Palmerston Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations for Sids and Kids NZ would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
