POWER, Mark Andrew

On December 7, 2019, Mark passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer; aged 49 years.

Loved husband of Kereen (nee Broome), treasured Dad of Lucabella, dearly loved eldest son of Gordon and Glenys, loved brother of Deane, and Vanessa, and the late Craig, loved brother-in-law of Rachel, and Reon, loved uncle of Gemma, Hannah, Charlotte, Jakob, Lucas, Matt, and Craig, loved by his uncles aunties, and cousins.

Special thanks to Dr Dave McKay, Dr Lyndell Kelly, Dr Louise Bremner, the Oncology Day Unit and Radiation Team of the Dunedin Hospital, The Otago Community Hospice, District Nurses, and Daniel and the team at the Urgent Pharmacy.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 12.30pm on Thursday December 12, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to “Box of Kindness” to provide support for oncology patients would be appreciated and may be left the service.
