On May 14, 2007, peacefully at his home, aged 43 years.

Dearly loved son of Helen Berry and of George Grant, loved companion of Roger Grauwmeijer, dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Richard Grant, Melissa and Matthew Hopkins, and Vicky and John Bell, adored uncle of Lucy, Joseph, Hannah, Rowan, and Poppy.

A service for Daryl will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday May 18 followed by private cremation.
