On October 14, 2020, at Leslie Groves Hospital, after a short illness; in his 94th year.

Loved father and father-in-law of the late Ainsley and Steven Godfrey, loved grandad of Nic and Charlie Hall, and Matthew Godfrey and great grandad of Anna.

Special thanks to Michael and all the staff at Leslie Groves Hospital for all their care and support.

A service for Ian will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 12.30pm on Monday October 19, followed by private cremation.
