On June 26, 2021, John ‘crossed the bar’, unexpectedly at his home; aged 82 years.

Dearly loved husband of Diane, loved father and father-in-law of Dennis and Jan (Melbourne), Sandra and Dave Baird, Graeme and Miah, loved Grandad of Matt, and Sarah; Scott and Kate, Katie and Graham, Ashlee and Josh; Dakota, and Cobie, and “G.G” to Frankie, Heath, and baby girl to be. John was also a much loved son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle of his extended family.

Special thanks to the St John, FENZ, and Police personnel who attended John’s home at the time.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11am on Saturday July 3, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
