On January 27, 2022, at Craig Unit, Ross Home and Hospital, due to Alzheimer’s, with her family at her bedside; aged 75 years young.

Much loved wife and friend of Tom for 52 years, much loved mother of Nicola, Kerry, Melissa, loving Nana to Sebastian. Loving and devoted daughter to Pauline, loving sister to Glenys. Loved sister-in-law to Derek^ and Dawn^, Jim and Eileen, John^ and June and George Judd, Gerard and Lyn, Philip and Raewyn, loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews, loved cousin, niece to the Fraser, McLay, Cadogan, and Scott families (^denotes deceased).

A special person to her friends and club mates at Nations, Alzheimer’s, Brain Injury, and Age Care Societies.
A courageous and beautiful person to the end.

A very special thank you to all the lovely compassionate careers led by Cass, Leeann, and Johannas, Medical team, nurse Shana, Mavis, Margaret Pearce Manager, Dr Argy Song, for being everlasting friends to her, Joan cherished you all.

A service for Joan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 1, followed by private cremation. Joan requests that all who attend will wear bright colours.
