VEITCH, Valerie Ethel (Val)

On June 18, 2022, following a short illness at Dunedin Hospital, we are heartbroken to have lost Val unexpectedly.

Adored wife of Bill for 60 years, loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Jan and Alan, Dean and Maree, Jason and Brigit. Val was the proud Nan of Jared, Imogen, Georgie, Madison, Jackson, Grason, Bella, and Lucia, and their partners. She was looking forward to becoming a great-Nan in a few weeks time. Val was the loved sister and sister-in-law of Mike and Val Clarke, and a long time cherished friend to many.

A service to celebrate Val’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 10am on Thursday, June 23, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA Dunedin, would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
