BARNETT, Marion (teacher, hill climber, friend, adventurer).

Marion was open to everything life had to offer. She died at her home, Glendale Retirement Home, on July 19, 2022; aged 87 years.

Loved wife of Graham who died in 2018, loved mother of Ruth, and Anna, loved grandmother of Mary, Peter, and Frances; Gabrielle, and Reuben, loved mother-in-law of Alan, and Hugh.

Thanks to Glendale who loved and cared for her so well and made it easy for Marion to be with her family throughout the last week.

A funeral service for Marion will be held in St John’s Anglican Church, 373 Highgate, Roslyn, Dunedin, at 12.00pm on Saturday July 23, followed by private cremation.
