On August 24, 2022, suddenly at his home; aged 59 years.

Dearly loved partner and best friend of Carolyn Tucker, much loved Dad and father-in-law of Jonathan and Jemma, Shaye and Waimanu, Emile and Kat, and loving grandad to Ezra, Layla, and Kodi; Richard, and Navya. Loved son of the late Elma and Alan, loved brother and brother-in-law of Liz and Alan, Gareth and Pip and the late Greg, loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

A service for John will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 2pm on Wednesday August 31, followed by private cremation.
