On November 9, 2022, at Dunedin Hospital with Whanau at his side; in his 70th year.

Out in a blaze of glory to the shearing shed in the sky - reunited with his loved partner and #1 wool classer Celia, and the rest of the gang.

Loved father of Anne-Marie, Sam and Danny, and proud and loving grandfather of Charlie.

Heartfelt thanks to the Rata Park Rest Home carers for restoring Dad’s dignity.

A service for Dave will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road at 11.00am on Saturday November 12, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to Rata Park Rest Home would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
