STILES, John Charles

John died peacefully at Dunedin Hospital on January 3, 2023 following a long illness; aged almost 80 years.

Beloved husband of Yvonne, special Dad and father-in-law of Dean and Tracey, Tony and Karla, Jan and John, Steve and Reba and Rian, amazing Poppa of Melitta and Josh, Zade and Jess, Lenny and Bushra, Harriet and Nick, and Isla.

Loved brother of the late Steve, late Robert (Bob), Arthur (Christchurch), and Lindsay (Melbourne) and loved uncle of his many nephews and nieces.

The family wishes to thank Dr Reid at the Meridian Health Centre and the doctors at Dunedin Hospital for all their care and support over the years and particularly Dr Heenan in his final days.

A celebration of John’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11am on Tuesday January 10, followed by private cremation.
