HAYNES, Bernard Carl (Bernie)

On February 12, 2023, passed away peacefully at his home; aged 64 years.

Dearly loved partner of Julie, loved Dad of Soraya and Paul, Siobhan and Paul, Jason and Aleisha, and Brogan, proud and loving Pa of Safari; Evelyn, and Elliot, loved brother and brother-in-law of Debra and Mark, Phil^ and Sally, loved uncle of his nieces and nephews, and his extended Fijian family, loved son of Eudo^ and Carrie^, and adored by Charlie, Winston, Tama^, and Tartan.

Thanks to the Mornington Health Centre, District Nursing, and Otago Community Hospice teams for their loving care and support.

A celebration of Bernie’s life will be held in the Otago Yacht Club, 25 Magnet Street, Dunedin North at 2.00pm on Wednesday February 15, followed by private cremation.
