On September 11, 2007 peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 94 years.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Thelma for 68 years. Loved son of the late David and Dolly and son-in-law of the late Walter and Florence Hall. Loved father and father-in-law of Pamela and the late Arthur Hill, Lindsay and Joy, Lauren and Sean, and the late Stephen. Loving grandad of Philip, Adrian, Andrew and Sharee, and Raquel; Richard and Tara, Chris and Belinda, Melanie and Andrew, Gregory and Trudy; Catherine, Keith and Joniece, and Alan and great grandfather of Rebecca, Javaan, and Kaelen; Alana; Eva; Caleb, Shanae, Lakita, and Jazmyn.

A Service for Arthur will be held in Holy Cross Anglican Church corner Ajax and Richardson Street at 2pm on Friday September 14, followed by private cremation.
