Smellie, Michael Peter (Mike)

At home, on Saturday May 6, 2023, aged 61 years, surrounded by his loved ones.
Husband and best friend to Claire (Austin), Dad to Cherry and Nic Hart, Joe and Hannah Smellie, and Grandpo to Mikey and Betty. Loved brother of Jenni and Hamish Dobbie, Tim and Ali, Matt and Ange Smellie.

Teacher, Kaiako, Matua Kai and coach to many young people in Plimmerton, Porirua, Wellington, the Wairarapa, Australia and Dunedin.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at Taieri College Performing Arts Centre at 1pm on Saturday May 13, followed by a private cremation.
