On Thursday September 13, 2007 peacefully at Leslie Groves Hospital; aged 77 years.

Dearly loved wife and best friend of Theo for 55 years. Dearly loved mother of Dianne Shanks, John Gray and Wendy Davies. Loved nana of Clayton and Emma (Wellingotn), Dean and Joanna Shanks (Wanaka), and Simon and Andrew Gray. Dearly loved sister of Joyce and the late Tom McNab. Special sister of Ida and the late Bert Parsons and family. Loved sister-in-law of the late John Gray (Wellington) the late Frances and Colin Brown (Timaru), Harry and the late Helen Peggie (Balclutha). Loved auntie of her nieces and nephews.

A Service for Lesley will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Monday September 17, followed by private cremation.
